Names of writers need not be printed. v. ‘ v* ABOLISHING COUNTY COUNCILS. In your columns this morning you say more than fifty Road Boards have petitioned to get County: Councils abolished. May hot our Road Boards join, as we can do very well without Councils ? Road Boards can take charge of main roads in their districts without requiring any more ofiicers, and by saving Council expenses we could relieve ourselves of a double tax. ; Ratepayer.
