The Premier has been urged by a deputation from the West Coast Railway Co. to acquire certain native land through which they propose to carry the railway. Mr Hall promised ■ consideration. Of course Ministers always promise that. It is not known yet what amount of help the Railway Construction Bill will oiler to private companies.
