COMING TO A CLOSE.

(Telegram from our Correspondent.} Wednesday Night, The debate was continued this afternoon by Mr Reeves, who scolded Mr Weston for voting with Government, and said he was accused that it was through his influence Mr Weston was returned. Well, he was never more sorry for anything he had done, and he termed Mr Weston an arch tiddlewinker. Major Hairis, the Opposition whip, said parties were so divided that one vote was now of much importance. Indeed so important was one vote to the Government, that three Cabinet Ministers visited the bedroom of one doubtful member who had recently arrived, and pressed him to vote on their side. THE DIVISION. The whips are active on both sides, and the division is expected to-night at a late hourGovernment reckon on just turning the scale with two of a majority.
