FRANCE AND TUNIS.
The French Government to maintain order at Tunis have ordered the mobilisation of a force of 100,000 men for service in Africa for three months. This step has been rendered imperative by the increasing gravity of the situation. To avoid misapprehension as to the cause of warlike preparations, the various European Cabinets are officially informed of the action which the Government are about to take, and the reasons which render the despatch of troops necessary.
