WE, the undersigned Ratepayers and Residents in Patea District, respectfully request you to convene a Public Meeting to be held in Patea at an early date, to consider the propriety of petitioning the House of Representatives on the following important subjects, and such others as the meeting may choose to entertain ;—> 1, Opening Crown Land in the Patea District 2, Laying off the Waverley-to-Patea Railway along a route to convenience the largest number of persons consistent with cost 3, Separate Representation for Patea County.
