REVENUE OP QUEENSLAND.

The Queensland revenue returns for the quarter ended June 30th show the total receipts for the period to be £570,000, being an increase of £160,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The increase for the year is £228,000. The receipts from the customs have increased during the quarter by £16,000 ; from stamps, £3000; from land sales, £112,000; from railways, £II,OOO ; and from the post-office, £IOOO. The revenue from miscellaneous sources also shows an increase of £9OOO. The principal decrease during this period is in the revenue from public works, and amounts to £ISOOO.
