MECEI VED LAST NIGHT. {Neuter's Despatches to the Mail.) CLOSE OP WOOL SALES. London, Ist. The wool sales dosed to-day. The firm tone of the market was maintained to the conclusion. The total quantity sold during' the series was 310,000 bales. The total quantity hold over for next sale is 42,000 bales. RIOTS IN AUSTRIA. Vienna, 2nd. Serious riots have lately occurred at Prague, in Austria. The disturbances have been caused by a strong feeling on the part of the Austrian residents against the German section oi‘ the community. Riots are still causing much trouble to the authorities.
