ME PEEEMAN E, JACKSON’S FOETNIG-HTLY STOCK EEPOET. Wanganui, June 15. Prices for stock of all descriptions have a slight upward tendency. All the lots offered at auction during the past fortnight have met a ready sale at the quotations below. Beef remains at about 17s 6d, and mutton at increased value. Cattle. —At Waverley, 254 head were yarded—Store bullocks, £5 ; fat bullocks £7 ; cows, £3 5s to £3 17s 6d ; £3 12s 6d to £4 6s. At the St, Hill-street Yards to-day the pens were all filled— Fat bullocks, £7 5s ; good stores £5 7s. 6d ; cows, £3 2s 6d ; milch cows, £4 15s to £7 ; heifers, £3 5s to £3 7s 6d ; yearlings, £2 to £2 ss. Sheep. —At Waverley, wethers and ewes, 11s, At St. Hill-street, fat wethers 10s 9d to 12s 6d ; stores, 8s 6d ; lambs 6s. Pigs. —Porkers, 14s 3d*to 17s ; sows, 25s to 355. Hohshs. —At usual rates. Exports. —l3B cattle, 1187 sheep, 60 pigs, and 14 horses.
