WELLINGTON MARKET REPORT of the New N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., dated June 7 :—Wheat : No sales. Oats : Sales of good feeding qualities have been effected at from 2s 3d to 2s 4d per bushel, and in consequence of continued inquiries prices show a hardening tendency. Barley : Prime malting, 3s to 3s 4d per bushel ; seconds and feeding qualities, Is 9dto2s. Flour: Colonial guaranteed £lO to £lO 10s per ton. Potatoes : Market overstocked, and little or no demand. Prices nominally 45s to 50s per ton. Wool : No sales. Sheepskins : Good clean crossbreds, 6d to 6£d per lb; coarse do., 5d to s£d per lb ; merino do., in bales, 6£d to 7d per lb. Hides : Salted heavies up to 4d per lb ; light and medium weights, 3£d to 3£d, Tallow: Prime mutton, £27 per ton; good beef up to £24 10s ; mixed, dark, and inferior, £2O to £23.
