Subscribers to tlie Mail are requested to inform tbe Publisher, at the PateaOffice, of any irregular Delivery of the Paper. THE mistake many Advertisers make is to place their advertising expenses to current account instead oi : to capital account. Suppose a yearly expenditure of £IOO in Advertising produces a net profit of only £2O for the first year. Undoubtedly this does not mean a loss of £BO, but it means a return of £2O per cent upon capital invested ; for the business is there, and will remain if properly looked after, and a second year’s Advertising will most certainly increase the profit on the full capital to 30 or 40 per cent. IF you WANT a HOUSE, Advertise in the Patea County Mail ; chief office, Patea, Three insertions for 65., under one inch.
