According to a dispatch from Geneva, Russakoff and Jaliboff, the killers of the Czar, have been mercilessly put to torture in the presence of General Loris Melikoff. Russakoff was electricised by powerful batteries, and forced by the intolerable agony he suffered to answer the questions put to him. Tomato sauce making is among Auckland local industries. Last year 1,505 dozen bottles were made. £l3O has been spent in the purchase of tomatoes this season, and it is expected 1,600 dozen bottles of sauce will be made.
