Friday, befoie Dr Croft and H. F. Christie, J.P.’s. CIVIL CASES. S. Taplin v. Fred Cowern, claim £8 3s lOd for goods. Judgment summons granted ; defendant to pay within seven days. Potto v. Ridley, claim 8s 6d for saddlery. Judgment for amount and 12s costs. PROPERTY TAX. The following persons had been summoned by the Deputy Property Tax Commissioner, and failing to appear were ordered to pay : Theodore Espagne, £22 5s 5d and £1 15s costs. E. F. Symes, £5 3s 9d, and costs, including 5s for Commissioner’s expenses. F. 0. S. M'Carty, 17s 8d and costs. Several others had paid into Court.
