BOMBARDMENT BY THE FRENCH.
A cable message dated Paris, April 26th, states :—The discordant relations which have existed for some time past between the French and Tunisian Governments liave now resulted In open hostilities. Telegrams from Algeria report that a French man-of-war Ims opened a heavy bombardment upon the island of Tabacca, situated near the coast at the western extremity of the Tunisian territory, completely destroying the town, and subsequently landed a body of troops.
