WHEREAS certain Public Works, that is to say, the Construction of the Waverley Section on the Fox ton to New Plymouth Railway, have been authorized, and the land for the same taken by proclamation: Now, I, Harry Albert Atkinson, Minister acting for the Minister for Public Works, do hereby publicly notify that I appoint the Public Works Office at Waugauni, to be the office at which Persons Claiming Compensation for Land taken for, or otherwise affected by, the said Public Works, shall serve their claims, pursuant to “ The Public Works Act, 1876,” and Acts amending the same.
