The first sale will be held at his N§w Yards, Patea, on SATURDAY, 26th FEBRUARY. PRESENT ENTRIES. 79 LINCOLN RAMS. These sheep were bred by H. J. Hall, Esq., Leeston, Canterbury, and are the stock of imported Lincoln Ewes and Rams. The rams used by this breeder were imported from Nocton Heath, and the ewes from the flock of Thomas Kirkham, of Biscathorpe. They are close finewoolled sheep; thoroughly suited to the district. Inspection invited. On account of R. B. Pearce, Esq,, 7 2-tooth Long-wooled Rams 1000 Full-mouthed Longwool Ewes, from the flock of Henry Gaisforh, Esq., Napier. 250 Lincoln Ewes, from the celebrated flock of John Handley, Esq. 400 First-class Cross-bred Ewes, from the flock of R. T. Southby, Esq. As this Fair will attract buyers from all parts of the Coast, it will afford a first-class opportunity for persons desirous of selling to get good prices for their stock.
