THE above society is prepared to assist persons by advances on mortgage, in acquiring freehold or leasehold estate, for the redemption of existing mortgages, for building upon or otherwise improving property already in their possession. Interest allowed on deposits : Six months, 6 per cent.; twelve months, 8 per cent. Monthly pay day on the 22nd of each month, between the hours of 7 and 9 in the evening, unless such 22nd should fall on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case it shall be held on the Monday following.
