TO be held in the month of FEBRUARY, as follows: In the Wellington Land District, Bth and 10th February, at Masterton: 15,000 acres,Pahiatua Block, FortyMile Bush 21st and 24th February, at Palmerston North : 15,500 acres, in Kairanga and Fitzherbert Blocks ; sections, 60 to 320 acres each; prices per acre, from £1 Is. to £3 10s. West Coast District, North Island, 14th and 17th February, at New Plymouth : 5,000 acres, Parihaka Block. Includes the Village Settlement of Warea, 600 acres, 25 th to 28th February, at Hawera : 10,000 acres of Waimate Plains, in sections from 15 to 320 acres; prices, £1 10s to £4 per acre. Townships of Manaia and Opunake: Quarter-acre sections, from £lO to £2O each. Suburban lands, £7 to £8 an acre. DURING the month of FEBRUARY 29,700 ACRES of First-clas AGRICULTURAL BUSH LAND, situate in the Forty-mile Bush and in the Manawatu District, will be OFFERED for SALE on Deferred Payments and for Cash. In the Pahiatua Block, Forty-mile Bush, 25 Sections can be applied for on deferred payments, at the Public Hall, Masterton, and at the Land Office, Wellington, on Tuesday the Bth February. On Thursday, the 10th February, 61 Sections will be offered at public auction in the Public Hall, Masterton. On Monday, February the 21st, 29 Sections in the Kairanga and Fitzherbert Blocks, can be applied for on deferred payments at the Town Hall, Palmerston, and at the Land Office, Wellington. On Thursday, February 24th, at 11 o’clock a.m., 80 Sections in the Kairanga and Fitzherbert Blocks, will be offered for sale by public auction, in the Town Hall, Palmerston. ‘ Terms : Deferred Payments.—When the same Section is applied for by two or more persons, the section will be put up to auction between the applicants at 10 o’clock, a.m., at Masterton Public Hall, on Thursday, the 10th February, for the Forty-mile Bush sections, and at Palmerston on Thursday, Febuary 24th, at 10 o’clock a.m., for the Kairanga and Fitzherbert Sections. One-twentieth of the purchase-money to be paid with the application, the balance in half-yearly instalments extending over ten years. Cash Payments.—2s per cent,, payable on the fall of the hammer, the balance in one month. Maps, Schedules of Sections, and upset price can be seen at the office of this paper, and will be forwarded from the Crown Lands Office, Wellington, on application. An officer of the Survey Staff will be in the neighbourhood one week previous to each sale to point out the Sections to intending purchasers. Note.— These sections include a large extent of level and undulatnig land, well watered, rich, deep soil, and most of the Sections have a ffontage lo main or district roads, JOS. G. HOLDS WORTH.
