Three thousand acres of forest land, west of Waingongoro river, and behind the Native reserve, will be open for application on deferred payment, at the Laud offices of Carlyle and Hawera, on Saturday, the 26th day of February, 1881, as follows : Kaupokonui Survey District. In Block fifteen, sections one, seven, eleven, twelve, sixteen, eighteen, and twenty-one. In Block sixteen, sections one, four, eight, twelve, fourteen, sixteen, nineteen, twenty-four, twenty-nine, and thirtyone. In Ngaire Survey District, Block thirteen, sections forty, forty-two, forty-four, forty-six, and fifty-three. The above sections will bo all open ah forty shillings an acre. Contested applications will be sold by public auction, at HAWERA, at Eleven o’clock a.m., on Monday, the 28th February. The bidding will be confined on each section, to the applicants only. CASH LAND. On Monday, the 28th February, at noon, will be offered for sale, for cash, six thousand acres forest land, in fortysix sections, situated behind Native reserve, and between Waingongoro river and Manaia road. The sections are as follows : In Kaupokonui Survey District. In Block fifteen, sections two, nine, and fourteen, at an upset price of forty shilper aero ; sections three, four, five, six, seventeen, nineteen, and twenty, at thirty-five shillings an acre ; sections eight, ten, and thirteen, at thirty siblings an acre. In Block sixteen, sections two, three, live, six, seven, nine, ten, eleven, thirteen, fifteen, seventeen, eighteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, and thirty, at thirty shillings per acre. In Ngaire Survey District. In thirteen sections, thirty-seven, thirtyeight, thirty-nine, forty-one, forty-three, forty-five, forty-seven, forty-eight, forty-nine, fifty, fifty-one, and fiftytwo, at thirty shillings an acre. This forest Block of nine thousand acres is now being opened up by road lines being felled and cleared. Maps and further particulars may be obtained at the Land offices.
