AUCKLAND STOCK. Mr Buckland reports—At Kemuera on Thursday dairy cattle were in short supply at previous values : store cattle dull of sale ; fat cattle, full numbers, 145 bead sold at last week’s prices, from 23s to 25s per lOOlbs ; heavy cattle and second quality from 225. Sheep were penned in full numbers, but fell in price slightly as the sale proceeded ; ewes, 2d, wethers 2-[cl per lb ; lambs were plentiful at last week’s value. DUNEDIN STOCK AND PRODUCE. (Latest Report. ) Live Stock. — Prime beef, 22s 6d per lOOlbs ; mutton, IJd to 2d per lb. Prooucb:. —Wheat : Millers’ requirements appear for the present satisfied, but there would be no difficulty in disposing of really prime samples, although perhaps a shade under the last quotations would have to be accepted.—Oats : Beyond a few transactions for shipment there is no movement to record. —Barley : Nothing doing', nominal quotations- Good samples of mill wheat, 4s 7d to 4s 8s ; medium milling wheat 3s 6d to 4s 3d ; fowl’s wheat, 2s 6d to 3s according to quality ; feed oats, ls4d milling oats, Is 7d ; malt barley, 3s to 3s 3d ; feed barley Is fid to Is Ocl.
