(Stem winders) The keyless mechanism to a watch is one of the great modern improvements in watch work ; it does away with the o l d-fashioned key, with which so many persons have ruined their watches. The watch is wound by turning a nnrled knob, placed on the handle or bow, instead of by the ordinary means ; the hands arc set in the same way. The silver cases are of the best sterling silver. 5. —Six per cent, discount will be allowed on oiders for six or more watches. g.—All our watches have compensation balance, which renders them equally accurate in either hot or cold climate. 7. —All watches may be ordered with or without seconds hand, with engraved, plain polished, or engine-turned cases, without difference in price. The best means of sending money is by draft on New York, Paris, or London, which can be procured at any banker’s, and everywhere, or enclose the amount in bank notes, gold coins, or postage stamps, of any country of the world.
