The Mail has over 80 subscribers between Whenuakura and Wuilolara. IiUAXCIf OFFICE OF THE MAIL . Wednesday Evening. A Public Meeting was held in the Town Hall on Monday-evening, to appoint managers for the recreation ground. Hie meeting - was very poorly attended. Mr G. S. Bridge officiated as chairman, and the following were voted into office : Messrs Hawes, Walkinlon, Hair, and the chairman. The sitting of the Magistrate's Court here was considered at the same meeting, and it was resolved that Messrs Bridge, Fookes, and Alason draw up a petition to the Minister of Justice, setting forth the claims of Waverley to Ids favorable consideration on the subject. Examination. —Mr Inspector Foulis commenced the examination yesterday, and will finish to-day-.
