PROSPECTING AT TE AROHA.
A message from Te A rob a says that the township is quite deserted, the men all being out prospecting in the ranges. There arc numbers of applications to tbe Warden for prospecting areas, and there is a strong feeling of confidence in the future of the district. Claimants to disputed ground are amalgamating, A public meeting is to be called to urge Government to make a road through Komata, or send a detachment of the Armed Constabulary to protect the workmen of. the Comity Council. A demand has been made for a telegraph station at Te Aroha.
