There has been a slight shock of earthquake felt at Wacha. STEAMSHIP IN COLLISION. 200 LIVES LOST. London, 24th. A steamer of Messageries Maritimes Company of France came into collision with another vessel off the coast of Italy, near Spezzia. The Messageries steamer received such injury that she sank almost immediately. Two hundred lives have been lost. - LONDON MARKETS- ’ London, 25th. Adelaide and New Zealand breadstuffs are unchanged at last quotations. Australian tallow, best beef, 345; best mutton, 36s : best Australian leather has advanced to Hid. At the wool sales to-day, 8700 bales were offered. The tone of the sale generally was firm. Inferior and faulty wools of all kinds were, however, irregular. ICE-BOUND CARGOES. New York, 25th, Three hundred cargoes arc now lying ice-bound in American Canals, IRISH POLITICS. Dublin, 25th.
