TROUBLES IN IRELAND.
At a meeting, which was being addressed by Mr Parnell, at Athloue, the platform, which had been sawn through, collapsed with a crowd upon it. Owing to a rumor of invasion by sympathisers with the victims of the Land League, a great part of Mayo is arming. The Orangemen are preparing to invade the district in which the Land League had been at work, for the purpose of reaping the crops. The Times demands the suspension the Habeas Corpus Act in Ireland, with a view to more effectually dealing with the present agitation. The American journals, with the exception of the Democratic papers, condemn the action of Parnell in connection with the agitation in Ireland, A relief party of Orangemen, about eighty in number, from Monaghan, have reached Balliurobe unmolested. A force of 7,000 (?) military and police, including artillery, were sent for, and are now between Balliurobe and Clareraorris, towns in County Mayo. RIOT IN CORK. Dublin November, 23. As a Fenian procession was parading the streets of Cork to-day a collision occurred with the police, upon whom several shots were fired by the mob. Fourteen Fenians were, however, arrested by the police, and will bo placed on trial.
