The November and December series of wool auctions opened to-day. There was a good attendance of home and foreign buyers. The opening catalogue comprised 4,800 bales. Prices were firmly maintained, and there was fair competition. The series close on December 14. COLONIAL MARKETSMelbourne, 24th. At the sugar sales hold yesterday prices were firmly maintained. Mauritius advices to 11th intaut report 208 tons sugar loading for Dunedin. Market more active, and freights in good demand. AUCKLAND EETAIL PRICES. (Corrected by latest report.)
