An enthusiastic 'aeronaut in the south of France spent ten years in making a balloon according to his own ideas of how balloons should be made. When his task had been ho got into the balloon car, mounted high into the air, and was never seen afterwards. The wreck of the balloon was recently picked up, far out in the Mediterranean, by a passing ship.
