RECEIVED LAST NIGHT. (Reuter's Despatches to the Mail.) SERIOUS RIOTS IN IRELAND. FIFTEEN PERSONS ARRESTED. Dublin, 23rd. A sanguinary conflict took place in Comity Mayo, between the police and a mob of people who were obstructing the arrest of some Leaguers. Several policemen were severely wounded. Fifteen persons have been arrested in Mayo, on a charge of intimidating landlords at Ballinasloe. HOMEWARD MAIL. London, 22nd. The Homeward mail via San Francisco, weich left Auckland October 12th, was delivered in London to-day. ATTACK BY*BASUTOS. Capetown, 22nd. News has been received that a tribe hitherto friendly have twice attacked the Colonial Residency, at Lcrida, in Basutoland, but were on both occasions repulsed.
