Cremation. —The question of cremation (says an English paper) is gradually coming nearer to our own boundaries. Its discussion as a practical measure is no longer confined to Germany, Switzerland and Italy, The Municipal Council of Paris has pronounced in its favour, and lias decided tiiat a competitive examination shall establish tbo most satisfactory kind of incineration. The Minister of the Interior and the Prefect of the Seine have, however, to give their consent, and though they arc botli favourable to the experiment, they have doubts about the law.
