Menelik is 3 years old, of o bright chestnut color, and shows great bone and substance. Ho took first prize as a yearling and first prize as a 2 year old at the Agricultural Shows. Terms : single mares, £3; two or more as per agreement; groomage, ss. Fees payable by promissory note due Ist January, 1881. A good paddock will be provided free for one month for those who prefer sending mares to the farm, after which a charge of 2s 6d per week will be made. F. M. Sire—Mr Kettle’s imported horse Sir William Wallace. Sir William Wallace is a beautiful dark bay 7 with black points, and was foaled January 7th, 1872. For symmetry, strength, and action, lie stands unrivalled. He is perfectly quiet, docile, and tractable. No horse ap proaches him in quality 7 and quantity of bone, muscle, and hair. He is a sure foalgetter, and his stock are turning out firstclass. He has taken the Champion Prize in Wanganui two years in succession, viz., in 1878 and 1879. For pedigree and further particulars, see large cards. Fee—Singie marcs, at £4 10s ; reduction made for two or more mares. Groomage fee, 2s 6d, to be paid when the mare is served.
