Towton (own brother to the Peer), bred in England in 1850. got by Melbourne ont of Cinzclli by Touchstone, Brocade by Pantaloon. Cinzelli the winner of the 2000 guineas, and dam of Towton, the Peer, and Marquis. Cocksuke is rising 8 years old ; as a 3-year-old, won the Hutt Park Stakes and Auckland Handicap, and was winning the Auckland Cup easy when ho ran off the course, and was never raced afterwards.
