Public Announcements. Sale of Waimate Plains. Crown Lands Office, Patoa, 22nd October, 1880, HE sales of Crown Lands advertised X to take place on deferred payments on the 28th instant, and on immediate payments on the 29th instant, will be held at the Town Hall, Hawkiia, at 11 a.m. on each day Commissioner of Crown Lands. Okoiatva Village Settlement. Crown Lands Office, Patea, 22nd October, 1860. THE land will bo open for application on Monday, the Ist of November, at the Land Offices, Carlyle and Hawern. The Village Allotments will be sold for cash immediately on purchase, and the Suburban and Rural Allotments will be offered on deferred payment; the Village Allotments at £lO each; the Suburban at £6 per acre ; and the Rural at £5 per acre. No person will bo allowed to acquire more than one section upon either immediate or deferred payments. If there should be more than one application for any Village Allotment offered for cash, the said allotment shall be put up to auction amongst the applicants. If there should bo more than one application for any Small Farm Allotment offered, the right to occupy shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants. Nearly all the Village Allotments contain one acre; the Suburban Allotments range from three to ten acres ; and live of the Rural Allotments contain 50 acres each. The lands disposed of by sale upon deferred payments shall be subject to the provision relating to Suburban and Rural Land of Part 111. of the Land Act, 1877, and to the provisions of section 9 of the Land Act 1877 Amendment Act 1879. PROVINCIAL DISTRICT OF TARANAKI. Land on Deferred Payments. MOA, MANGANUI, AND NGAIRE DISTRICT’S. Crown Lands Office, New Plymouth, July 14th, 1880. NOTICE is hereby given that Allotments of Land, on terms of Deferred Payments, in the above districts, will be open for selection by application at the Crown Lands Office in New Plymouth, the District Land Office at Carlyle, and the Post Office, Hawera, on and after the 21st day of August next ensuing. Plans and Schedules may be obtained at all the Offices named. The Receiver of Land Revenue requests that intending purchasers will observe that all payments to him must be made in Cash, Post Office Order, or Rank Draft, payable to the “ Receiver of Land Revenue, New Plymouth.” Cheques cannot be received. Patea will leave Patea as under (circumstances permitting): For Wellington direct— Thursday, 28th, at 8-80 p.m. For Nelson direct and back— November 2nd, at 8 a.ra. Single tickets issued for Lyttelton ; and it is likely arrangements can be made for return tickets. For the future flags will be hoisted at the office to denote arrival and departure of steamer: Rod, with blue and white centre— Arrival. Blue, with white centre, underneath red flag—Departure on that day. Consignees will please arrange with shippers from Southern Ports to ship goods direct to Patea. Outwaul shippers arc particularly requested to arrange at the office for shipment of same. Passengers are also requested to obtain their tickets at the office, or from the Manager, who will be in attendance on board hour before leaving. Freight will be payable before goods are delivered.
