I, 2, 3, 5, and (>, on the Mountain Hoad, County of Taranaki. They must be addressed to the Hon. Minister for Public Works, and marked outside, “Tenders for Gravelling or Metalling.” Specifications and conditions may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth; Post Offices, Carlyle ami Hawera ; and at the Telegraph Office, Normanby. Stile of Waimate Plains, WEST COAST, NORTH ISLAND. Crown Laud’s Office, Wellington, 9th September, 1880. IT is hereby notified that 127 Sections of Land in the ahovenamed locality will be offered for sale on deferred and immediate payments. The sections on deferred payments will be open for application on Monday, the 25th October, at the Land Offices, Carlyle and Hawera. Sections for which there arc more than one application will be submitted to auction, between the applicants only, on Thursday, the 28tb October, at Hawera. The price of land on deferred payments will be £5 an acre. Five shillings per acre will have to be deposited on making application. Each applicant will only be allowed to apply for one section on deferred payments. Applicants for land on deferred payments may send their applications and deposits, with statutory declaration as required by “ The Laud Act, 1877,” through post to the Land Office, Carlyle, Patea, to arrive on or before the 25th October. Envelopes should be marked “Application for deferred payment land, Waimate Survey District.” The laud on immediate payments will be sold by public auction, open to all bidders, on Friday, 29th October, at Hawera. Upset price, £4 an acre. On immediate payment there are 88 sections, ranging from 50 acres to 100 acres each. On deferred payments there arc 39 sections, ranging from 50 acres to 80 acres each. Colored lithograph plans may be seen at all the Land Offices of the Colony on and after the 15th instant.
