Patea will leave Patea as under (circumstances permitting): For Wellington direct— On 28th instant For Nelson direct and back— About 2nd November Single tickets issued for Lyttelton ; and it is likely arrangements can be made for return tickets. For the future flags will be hoisted at the office to denote arrival and departure of steamer; Rod, with blue and white centre— Arrival. Blue, with white centre, underneath red flag—Departure on that day. Consignees will please arrange with shippers from Southern Ports to ship goods direct to Patea. Outward shippers arc particularly requested to arrange at the office for shipment of same. Passengers arc also requested to obtain their tickets at the office, or from the Manager, who will be in attendance on board -k hour before leaving.
