Public Announcements. PRO'VINCIAL DISTRICT OF TARANAKI. Land on Deferred Payments. MOA,. MANGANUI, AND NGAIRE DISTRICTS. '• Crown Lands Office, New Plymouth, July 14th, 1880. NOTICE is hereby given that Allotments of Land, on terms of Deferred Payments, in the above districts, will be open for selection by application at the Crown Lands Office in New Plymouth, the District Land Office at Carlyle, and the Post Office, Hawera, on and after the 21st day of August next ensuing. Plans and Schedules may be obtained at all the Offices named. The Receiver of Land Revenue requests that intending purchasers will observe that all payments to him must be made in Cash, Post Office Order, or Bank Draft, payable to the “ Receiver of Land Revenue, New Plymouth.” Cheques cannot be received. By order of the Board, C. D. WHITCOMBE, Commissioner of Crown Lands.

Sale of Waimate Plains. WEST COAST, NORTH ISLAND. Grown Land’s Office, Wellington, 9th September, 1880. IT is hereby notified that 127 Sections of Land in the abovenamed locality will be offered for sale on deferred and immediate payments. The sections on deferred payments will be open for application on Monday, the 25th October, at the Land Offices, Carlyle and Hawera. Sections for which there are more than one application will be submitted to auction, between the applicants only, on ThursDAYj the 28th October, at Hawera, The price of land on deferred payments will be £5 an acre. Five shillings per acre will have to be deposited on making application. Each applicant will only be allowed to apply for one section on deferred payments. Applicants tor land on deferred payments may send their applications and deposits, with statutory declaration as required by “ The Land Act, 1877,” through post to the Land Office, Carlyle, Patea, to arrive on or before the 25th October. Envelopes should be marked “ Application for deferred payment land, Waimate Survey District.” The land on immediate payments will be sold by public auction, open to all bidders, on Friday, 29th October, at Hawera. Upset price, £4 an acre. On immediate payment there are 88 sections, ranging from 50 acres to 100 acres each. On deferred payments there are 39 sections, ranging from 50 acres to 80 acres each. Colored lithograph plans may be seen at all the Land Offices of the Colony on and after the 15 th instant. Information as to the mode of making applications for land on deferred payments, and the necessary forms, may be had from any of the Commissioners of Crown Lands. W.
