JACKSON has received instructions to sell by public auction at the Wool Stores, Wanganui, on Wednesday, 20th October, at 2 p.m.— That valuable FARM, known as Pokdkli-, at present occupied bv Messrs Reid and Hume, containing 778 acres of the finest land in the district.
The estate is situated about nine miles from Wanganui, on the No. 2 Line of Road, and the Homestead is within half a mile of the Railway station of Fordell. It is divided into nine paddocks, the fences being well kept—lire hedges and wire. The land is laid down with English grasses, except that which is under cultivation, which consists of 100 acres of wheat, and 20 acres of oats. The Matarawa stream runs . through the land. The Homestead, which is delightfully situated, consists of an eight-roomed Dwelling-house, Outbuildings, Stable, &c.
