Tenders to be addressed to the Minister for Public Works; to be in proper form and enclosed to the undersigned, to be marked outside, 11 Waverlcy Station Tender.” In case of a telegraphic tender, a written tender must bo lodged at a Government office. Patca •will leave Patca as under (circumstances permitting): For Nelson and back, direct— Saturday, August 28th, at 1.30 p.m. For Wellington— Tuesday, August 31st, at 5 p.m. For the future flags ■will be hoisted at the office to denote arrival and departure of steamer: End, with blue and white centre — Arrival. Blue, with white centre, underneath red ilag—Departure on that day. Consignees will please arrange with shippers from Southern Ports to ship goods direct to Patca. Outward shippers arc particularly requested to arrange at the office for shipment of same. Passengers are also requested to obtain their tickets at the office, or from the Manager, who will bo in attendance on board hour before leaving. Freight will be payable before goods are delivered.
