JACKSON will sell by public auction, as above— The powerful Draught Entire, PRINCE OF THE VALLEY, By Royal Conqueror, out of J. Andrew’s well-known mare Polly, by Farmer (imported), and grand dam (imported). The above splendid animal was imported from Nelson by Mr J. Chubbin last season. Ho took first prize at Richmond Agricultural Show in 1875, and first prize for Provincial breds in 1876-7, and first prize against all comers. Also, The highly-bred Carriage Sire, AIDE-DE-CAMP, Lately imported from Melbourne; he is six years old, and stands bands. He gained four first prizes in Victoria, and was awarded second prize at the Victoria Grand National Exhibition at Sandhurst in 187 6. He was bred by J. Howard, Esq., of Melbourne, by the celebrated imported sire Governor, dam thoroughbred mare by Belladonna, by Warhawk. Governor, by Rifleman, dam by Brilliant, which shows that Aide de-Camp is descended from some of the best blood in the world. He can be seen by intending purchasers at Mr G. Gordon’s stables.
