FENIAN REVIVAL.

SUSPECTED AGENTS in IRELAND PURCHASE OF ARMS. (Special Despatches to the Mail.) Dublin, 14th.

A large number of suspected Fenian emissaries from New York have arrived in Ireland. Their movements are suspicious, and are being watched by the police. It is known that 400 rifles have been purchased in Dublin, and they have been traced to Cork, the centre of the disaffected district, and of the anti-rent agitation. The police have certain information which leads the authorities to suspect that a complete organisation exists on the linos of the former Fenian conspiracy. HOME RULERS IN SCOTLAND. A great demonstration of Irish Home Rulers in Scotland has been held at Glasgow, the commercial capital. It is computed that 30,000 Irishmen attended the meeting, which passed off quietly. Resolutions demanding Home Rule for Ireland were adopted.
