NOTICE is hereby given that Allotments of Land, on terms of Deferred Payments, in the above districts, will be open for selection by application at the Crown Lands Office in Now Plymouth, the District Land Office at Carlyle, and the Post Office, Hawcra, on and after the 21st day of August next ensuing. Plans and Schedules may be obtained at all the Offices named. The Receiver of Land Revenue requests that intending purchasers will observe that all payments to him innst be made in Cash, Post Office Order, or Bank Draft, payable to the “ Receiver of Land Revenue, New Plymouth.” Cheques cannot bo received. WO Bay Marcs, from No. 2 Line, X Wanganui; very much alike, with black points, one branded WP on near shoulder, the other branded 2 on off lide of neck. Any person giving information or delivering the animals to E. B. Pkaiice, Kakarainoa, will receive £1 reward. PATEA S.S. COMPANY. THE s.s. Patea will leave Patea as under (circumstances permitting): For Wellington— Saturday, August 7th, at 8 a.m. For Nelson and Wellington— Wednesday, August 11th, at 11 a.m. For the future flags will be hoisted at the office to denote arrival and departure of steamer: lied, with blue and white centre — Arrival. Blue, with white centre, underneath red flag—Departure on that day. Consignees will please arrange with shippers from Southern Ports to ship goods direct to Patea. Outward shippers are particularly requested to arrange at the office for shipment of same. Passengers are also requested to obtain their tickets at the office, or from the Manager, who will be in attendance on board hour before leaving. Freight will be payable before goods are delivered.
