THE COMMITTEE’S REPORT.
(Telegram from our Correspondent.) Wellington, Wednesday Night.
The enquiry by a Select Committee of the Upper House into the Hawera petition against the Taranaki harbor scheme will be completed to-morrow. Messrs Bauchope, Roes, Barleymau, Sherwood, and Major Atkinson have been examined by the Committee. The enquiry has been mnst exhaustive, and the result will be known in a few days.
