PATE A HARBOR BILL.
PROPOSED ENDOWMENT. (Telegram from our Correspondent.') Wellington, Monday Night. A Bill to grant certain endowments to the Patea Harbor Board, for the prosecution of the improvement work at the heads, is expected to be introduced in the Lower House in a day or two. The necessary sanction required for introducing a money bill has been obtained through the Chairman of the Harbor Board, who is here promoting this Bill; and there appears to be, considerable good-will on the part of members on both sides, from what I can learn, in support of the proposed endowment of the Patea Harbor Board. .
