TRIAL OP THE NATIVESMonday Night. It is probable that the Peace Preservation Bill, as it is called, will be introduced to-morrow, by the Native Minister. It is rumored that the Bill will give power to the Executive for further detention of the native prisoners now in Dunedin gaol, if deemed necessary for preserving the public peace on the West Coast, and providing for the gradual release of those Maori political prisoners who hail been convicted and served their time. Opposition to this extraordinary measure is likely to bo very strong, and it will raise the whole question of native policy on the West Coast;
