From our Wellington Correspondent. ' (7iy Telegraph.) Wednesday Night. The no-confidence debate has dragged out to such length that interest appears lost in Hie proceedings. Yesterday, afternoon the attendance of members was thin, and the galleries almost bare. The Minister of Education informed Mr Seddon that the Government propose te get out specimen examination papers in connection with the Educational Department, and send them to boards for the guidance of inspectors, Mr Ollivcr said the amount credited to the Railway Department for special trains for Ministers, from July 1878 to July 1879 was £-159. Mr Whitaker, replying to Mr Waterhouse, said the total costs paid in the case of Russell v. Grindcll and Didsbury (T Vain Maori case) amounted to f 3,1 GO.
