The County Council met yesterday in Carlyle, Our report is unavoidably hold over. The Sheep Prosecution against the Messrs Symes, of Whenuakura, has been postponed, at Mr Barleyman’s request, till Tuesday, 15th. The charge is for permitting rams to bo with infected ewes. The Patea Steamer reached Wellington yesterday at 2 p.m., and will return on Saturday morning. She will sail again on Sunday morning.
