[f kom our ooiinespo nd en t.] The Recreation Ground produced last year a rental to the County Council of £2B 4 s. Death.— The death of Mrs Watkins occurred on Thursday last. She had been failing for some lime. As her husband belonged to the volunteers, they disbanded after drill, and followed the funeral. The School Committee held a meeting on Saturday evening, when there was a good muster of members, to consider the cost of a lavatory and a few other necessaries. A Ploughing “ Bee” is to bo held on the Race-coarse of the WaverloyWnitotnra Club, for turning up the running track and putting it into better condition for next season’s racing.
