Noth.— Trains do not stop at platform unless required. Passengers wishing to alight must give notice to the Guard at the previous stations. Passengers are requested not to enter or leave the oars while in motion. To ensure despatch, parcels should be booked 30 minutes before the starting of the train. T. F. ROTIIERAM, General Manager. GENEUAL CONDITIONS. The Eailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in flic above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising cither during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage,—Each person is allowed to take 112lbs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every s(ilbs above the weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to betaken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the scat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is plac'd on th Train, as the 1 ir.ilway Department will not b responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under fourteen years of age, half-price. Horses, carriages, kc. —The Hallway Department docs not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by an particular Train ; but when'sent, they must be at the Forwarding Station half-nn-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, and the Hallway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horseboxes or carriage-trucks must bo made the day before they arc wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means .of Securing.them. They will not bo allowed in Carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Tabic is suspended. Tlctnrn Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only j for each additional 25 miles or fraction thereof, one clay extra is allowed, Ordinary .Single Tickets issued-on Satur. days and Sundays arc available as Return Tickets until tlic end of the following Monday, when re-dated as above. All Tickets used for Return later than the day of issue must be presented at the Ticket Window, and rc-datcd before the Passenger enter the Train for the Return Journey. Any person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the Ordinary Fare. Special Notice.—To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must lie at the Station Fifteen Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. STAR AND GARTER HOTEL, CUUA-STREKT. JT.
