The sales have been fairly attended, but the bidding- on the whole dull, and without spirit. At the ram fair the quality of rams offered was not so good as one should expect. At the yards to-day, the attendance was small, owing to the Regatta. Prices for beef was nearly 20s the lUOlbs. Sheep were dull, but all sold after the auction. Horses were almost imsa’eable. A pen of unbroken draught colts found purchasers, ami 1 placed some hacks at the quotations below. Cattle. —At liawera, IJO head were yarded—Fat Cows, £5 ids ; steers, £5 ss; cighteen-montho-old steers, £2 17a 0 i to £3 ; yearlings, of inferior description, 20s.
