PATEA WEST ROAD BOARD.
The regular monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Monday last. Present—Messrs Mcßae (chairman), Merchant, Chapman, Campbell, Taylor, and Paterson. Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. Resolved, “ That the Secretary be instructed to apply to the Waste Lands Board, enquiring whether all deferred payment settlers in the Otoia Block have paid January instalment, as money is required to pay contractors.” Resolved, “ That Messrs Mcßae and Paterson see to having work done on Garsed Road, leading to Wright’s Section.” Resolved, “ That tenders be called for persons willing to impound stray stock off by-roads in Patea West Road Board District,” Resolved, “ That the sum of £2 2s be paid to the Secretary for preparing rate roli.” The meeting then adjourned.
