Hirst, applied for the debtor’s immediate discharge, which was granted.—ln tho matter of the will of F. J. Smith, Mr Adams applied for probate to be granted to W. Dale and E. Holtham, the executors named in the will, which was also granted. Judge Shaw left for Wanganui ou Thursday.
It may please those who live in the vicinity of the M.un Cilice to learn that a dog known by the euphonious name of “ Whisky,” was consigned to a watery grave on Thursday night. It was’ut our dog. We have been allowed to print Craw Linn’s letters on his “ ilamblcs in tho North,” before they are forwarded to his friend “Bob,” in Melbourne. They are interesting, so wo do not hesitate in publishing them.
Mr J. Hanson, wiio was so seriously injured not long since, was removed to the Hospital yesterday from Messrs Mace and Bassets’ shop, where he lias been lying ever since the accident. Wc are sorry to say that tho patient is still in a very critical state.
