(Per Press Agency) WELLINGTON. January 6. At the Supreme Court to-day, Thomas Wisdom, alias Ramsay, for larceny, was sentenced to nine months’ hard labor ; J. G. Lee, alias Smith, alias Webb, for larceny, two years ; Dennis McCormack, for wilfully wounding, found guilty, and remanded for sentence; PranK Nicholson, for embezzlement, was discharged, but another charge will be preferred against him; William Hales, for dual voting, was fined £2O, fine not to be estreated until opinion of Appeal Court be obtained on points of law raised. At the Police Court, Geo. W. Boer, bankrupt, was charged with concealing a portion of his estate from the creditors’ trustee. Accused was committed for trial. At compensation Court to-day, Corporation were mulcted in heavy damages lor injuries sustained by several pro-perty-holders through the lowering of Willis-strcet by Corporation. *
